My translation of Manohar Shyam Joshi's novel 'Kyaap' has been published and released on 5th Feb. during Kolkata Book Fair by Jayanta Mahapatra and Sunil Gangopadhyay. It is one of those rare political novels, which dealt with post-independence Indian political scenario with precision and passion built around a double murder mystery. It received Sahitya Akademi Award for Hindi in 2006. To my knowledge this is first Bangla translation of Joshiji's writing. Please have a look at it. It will be rewarding.
